THE STORY BEHIND THE PAINTINGS ~

All my paintings begin with a prayer, after which I literally throw the first layer of paint onto the cold press paper.  I let it dry then I begin to observe what message or picture wants to come out.  Proceeding from this point I begin with no pre-conceived notion of what the painting will be.  About a quarter of the way through the next layers of water color, it's easy to see what "they, she, he or it" wants to become. 

I believe there is a bit of magical energy embedded in each special picture.  Who knows but you what a picture speaks to or reminds you of.  These pictures are generous in size and when printed on good paper, perhaps at a Kinko like store and framed with just inexpensive precut matting from a Michael's or Hobby Lobby like store and placed in a thin frame, they are stunning to be sure!  I warmly welcome your feedback or questions.  Lovingly, Kristin
