Exploring the Three of Pentacles in the position of “Past or how it began” might come in to say that one was learning from their past so as to not repeat the same mistakes. With you being so young, that could of spoke of a time that was needed to work as a team in order to bring about what one desires.

This card comes up a lot when employment is the question however, since it was about your relationship with your friend, this might mean that perhaps one can achieve what they want through this relationship but not alone.
