~ EASY NUMEROLOGY TAROT SPREAD ~

(This is a great spread to use when trying to learn each card's numerological value to perform more readings with deeper meaning.)

Understanding how numbers work within our Tarot card readings allows us to get a quick sense of what came before and know what’s up ahead. The numerological system for reading Tarot cards is a very interesting and enlightening part of the overall messages we obtain from our Tarot card readings.

The more you practice with your Tarot cards using the key words, phrases and concepts; the quicker you’ll learn to master the symbolism that paints the picture and tells the story. To “kick it up a notch” you might add more zest to your Tarot card readings by including the back drop of Numerology! The simple chart below gives the basic key “Numerological” meanings that are simple and easy to learn.

Tarot cards have embedded Astrological and Numerological systems. And as we learn the meanings of each Tarot card, within the secret Tarot card recipe are the ingredients of Astrology and Numerology, as intended by the ancient designers of Tarot.

Here is a simple key to help you learn the basic "journey" of the numbers:

1. We start something new.

2. We grow and bring balance to this something new.

3. We grow more rapidly, but we’re beginning to understand.
(Two things come together to make a third.)

4. We bring order to chaos and we grow more. (Foundation.)

5. We change because of this and something new has been added, so we can grow more.
(Chaos, change, transition.)

6. We bring these new changes into harmony with whom and what we are. (Success.)

7. We stop to evaluate and measure our successes. (Insight.)

8. We wrap things up and prepare to complete this stage of growth.
(Success and energy come together to communicate to the next level.)

9. We complete the new project we started and get ready for the next one.
(Preparing to move onward.)

10. We have completed a cycle or phase and we now move onward to our next cycle.
(Completion.)

Now let’s start with a very simple but powerful spread simply called the “Yes/No Numerology Spread”:

Randomly select nine Tarot cards and as you turn them over left to right spread the uprighted cards together in an attractive manner and in a separate area spread the reversed cards together also in a way that is appealing to look at. Try to keep the Tarot cards in the same order in which they were drawn by you or!... the querent. The question asked by the querent may or may not be a yes/no question, it doesn’t matter because you the reader will be able to see from the cards and their numbers where the emphasis lies either in the positive or the negative with guidance attached.

For instance, you might have six uprighted cards to a question that asks about a job search and the upright cards indicate a yes. But, within the six yes cards there might be guidance in the form of a “Devil” trump or “Tower” trump indicating something must be done or handled first. Next, the reversed cards are also telling a story. The three remaining cards might be reversals of the “Sun” trump, the “Star” trump and the “10 of Wands” and we know that as Mary Greer – Tarot Author and Scholar – states, “A reversal can be uprighted by some kind of action…” we can see that there is hope on the horizon.

I have used this form of spread often and it never leaves me wondering about a querent’s question. It also allows me great reading leverage. I can be free to fill in the blanks, so to speak, with my own Tarot knowledge and understanding which gives my readings a richness and feeling of free flow. It is also quick and comes in handy for a sudden or surprise phone call reading request. HA! There you have it, a quick and delightfully simple Tarot card reading with lots of substance.
