“The Rohrig Tarot” is a vibrant and exquisitely designed deck with oversized cards that are still easy to manage. Designed by the graphics artist, Carl-W. Rohrig, it seems that his inspiration must come from some extraordinary place outside of the mundane parts of our world today. Pictorially he tells the Tarot story with keen, graphic insight.

His tarot cards artfully weave the contemporary human story on top of the template of the “Toth” Tarot cards. He loves women, there’s no doubt, so much so that he elected to let the Kings take a vacation and replaced them with non-competing court cards. His Queens are goddess-like - and why not? Charming when they need to be, poignant when they should be and very loving when necessary. Some of the minor arcana come right out of the Silicon Valley dot com era and transcend to the new stock market reality of today.

His costuming of the individuals L’Archetype is creative genius. I could divide this deck into three stacks; Spectacular Medieval-influenced costuming with modern-day make up or hairdo’s, Dali-inspired implications of doom and gloom and Business-suited lackey’s trapped in the corporate ‘ick. The limited amount of nudity demeans no one.

From years of experience I can say that the “Rohrig Tarot” cards give a high vibration when one views and holds them in their hands. This is a Tarot card deck that I use in most of my weekly Tarot card readings and they have never let me down. Rohrig’s Tarot cards graphically depict many levels of humanity and possible paths to the higher Divine. It is a feast for the knowledgeable eyes of the Tarotist!
